The team of STORAG ETZEL Service GmbH is responsible for the operational management of the caverns in Etzel (municipality of Friedeburg). We have been training young people as mechatronics engineers (m/f/d) for many years.
We are regularly looking for eager-to-learn trainees with manual dexterity and interest in the job description of a mechatronics technician.
As an IHK-recognized training company, we have many years of experience in the responsible and successful training of young people to become skilled workers.

Currently, all training positions for mechatronics engineers (m/f/d) are filled. The next training start is expected to be in the fall of 2023. However, there is an apprenticeship offer as industrial clerk (m/f/d).
Mechatronics technician (m/f/d) is a recognized training occupation under the Vocational Training Act. This nationally regulated 3 ½-year apprenticeship is offered in industry and trade.
STORAG ETZEL GmbH specializes in cavern construction, operation and marketing and is the largest independent provider of underground cavern storage facilities for storing large quantities of oil and gas in Germany. Tenants of these caverns are well-known companies from the energy sector as well as oil storage organizations. The team of STORAG ETZEL Service GmbH is responsible for the operational management of the caverns. The company has been successfully training young people for many years. Mechatronics engineers (m/f/d) assemble mechanical, electrical and electronic components into complex systems, install control software and maintain the systems.
Mechatronics engineers (m/f/d) work in mechanical and plant engineering and automation technology, for example, at companies that produce industrial process control equipment.
They can also work in companies in vehicle, aircraft or spacecraft construction as well as in information or medical technology.
